Saturday, March 5: With more than 3,000 participants and 10,000 spectators, the 21st annual Dutchess County St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the grandest around. The parade steps off at 1 p.m. and marches its way through Wappingers Falls. www.dcsppc.org

Saturday, March 12: The 66th annual Albany St. Patrick’s Day Parade steps off at 2 p.m. on Quaill Street and Central Avenue, following 9 a.m. mass held at the Blessed Sacrament Church. www.albanystpatricksdayparade.com

Saturday, March 12: The Jeffersonville Fire Department leads the Jeffersonville St. Patrick’s Day Parade down Main Street this year, stepping of at 1 p.m. www.jeffersonvilleny.com

Saturday, March 12: A solemn mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 11:30 a.m. precedes Mount Kisco’s 26th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which steps off at 2 p.m. on Main Street. www.aohdiv16.org

Saturday, March 12: The City of White Plains kicks off its 19th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 12 p.m. on the corner of Livingston and Mamaroneck Avenues and makes its way to City Hall. Last year’s event featured more than 26 musical performances, five floats, and 90 groups participating. www.whiteplainssaintpatricksday.com

Saturday, March 12: Peekskill’s 27th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade steps off at 3 p.m. at First Street and finish on Brown Street; stop at the corner of Park and James for live music. Get there early to enjoy the Grand Marshal’s Brunch — serving pancakes, eggs, muffins, bacon, juice, and coffee — at Peekskill Elks Lodge from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. An hour-long mass in honor of St. Patrick will be held prior to the parade at 1:30 p.m. at Assumption Church. Sunday, March 13: Preceded by the always-popular Shamrock Run at 12:50 p.m., the 29th annual Kingston St Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off at 1 p.m. at the Kingston Plaza, making its way to the Rondout. Sunday, March 13: Entering its 40th year and holding the title of the third largest parade in New York, the Northern Westchester and Putnam St. Patrick’s Day Parade steps off at 2 p.m. and heads eastbound on Route 6 in Mahopac. www.saintpatricksdayparade.net

Sunday, March 13: After mass at the National Shrine of Our Lady Mount Carmel and brunch at 10:30 a.m., Goshen’s Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Day Parade commences at 2 p.m. from the Orange County Government Center parking lot, followed by an after party. www.mhspp.org/id4.html

Saturday, March 19: The Village of Montgomery’s St. Pat’s Ramble kicks off its fourth year at 1 p.m. and works its way around the village. Guests who arrive by 10 a.m. may participate in or watch the Run for the Gold 5K Race. www.stpatsramble.com

Saturday, March 19: The 61st annual Yonkers St. Patrick’s Day Parade steps off at 1 p.m. on McLean Avenue following an 11:15 a.m. mass at St. Barnabas Church. www.yonkersstpatricksparade.org

Sunday, March 20: The Rockland County AOH St. Patrick’s Day Parade continues its tradition as one of the largest parades in the Hudson Valley, stepping off at 1:30 p.m. and taking marchers through the town of Pearl River. www.rocklandcountyaoh.com
