July 28, 12-7 p.m.
Bring the family to Otisville for the Orange County Cornell Cooperative Extension’s fun-filled community event. The free celebration will give little ones the chance to explore the petting zoo, make their own crafts, learn at interactive exhibits, and dance it out to local performers. The highlight of the day comes in the form of the Duck Derby, in which rubber ducks race down a man-made river. The winning duck scores $500, although the true fun happens when cheering on the squeaky competitors.
